Our Caregiver Support team provides resources, education, guidance, training and empowerment to those caring for older adults and people with disabilities. Our trained and compassionate staff may provide phone consultations or a home visit depending on each family's individual needs. Our goal is to enhance the quality of life for families and caregivers. Initial consultations are free to residents in the communities we serve, and can be scheduled at our office in Bedford, in your home or at another location convenient for you.
Please check out this free, time-limited monthly webinar series that will bring simple tips, practical solutions, and awareness of community resources to family caregivers throughout Massachusetts. If you have questions or comments about the webinar series, or would like to request a topic or speaker for an upcoming webinar, please contact masscaregiver@mass.gov.
This program provides tools and strategies to better handle the unique challenges faced by family caregivers. Topics covered include self-care behaviors, management of emotions, self-efficacy and use of community resources.
