Please take 15 minutes to complete this survey from Beth Israel Lahey Health and its member hospitals, which are conducting a Community Health Needs Assessment to better understand the most pressing health-related issues for residents in the communities they serve. Respondents will have the opportunity to enter into a drawing for a $100 gift card.

Medicare Open Enrollment
October 15 - December 7
Medicare open enrollment runs from October 15 - December 7. There may be changes to your current Medicare prescription drug and health insurance plans for 2022, so this is a good time to review your current plan. To schedule an appointment with a SHINE counselor, call your local Senior Center directly or Minuteman Senior Services at 888-222-6171. Book early - do not wait until it's too late!

Free Online Home Care Aide Training
The Executive Office of Elder Affairs has launched an initiative to expand the opportunity for training for individuals seeking employment in home care or for those caring for a loved one. The Commonwealth has now made available a free, online Home Care Aide training. Click here to learn more. Help spread the word!

Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released revised guidance related to additional vaccine doses for certain populations. Click here for updated guidance.
