Caregiver Presentation
Join the Friends of Indian Senior Citizens Organization on March 8 at 10:30AM for a discussion on caregiver support, challenges, and resources. You can join in person at the Burlington Council on Aging for the presentation followed by Q&A and a free vegetarian lunch (sponsored by Minuteman), or join via Zoom.
Community Circles
Build meaningful connections with neighbors. Community Circles connect people of all backgrounds to share and listen to each other's stories. Acton-Boxborough United Way and the AB Racial Justice Collaborative are hosting "Belonging" on Tuesday, March 29, 6PM at the Acton Senior Center and via Zoom.

Medicare Information
The SHINE program provides no cost Medicare benefits counseling in partnership with local Councils on Aging, as well as group education on topics including New To Medicare, What’s New in Medicare 2022, Creating a My Medicare Account and Using the Medicare Planfinder. We are currently scheduling sessions for groups of five or more, in person or by video conference. Programs can be tailored to health care and social service professionals, consumers, membership groups, civic clubs and faith-based organizations. To book, contact SHINE at 781-221-7029.
Alzheimer's Association Family Conference
50th Anniversary of Senior Nutrition Program
Since 1972, the national Senior Nutrition Program has supported nutrition services for older adults across the country. Funded by the Older Americans Act (OAA), local senior nutrition programs serve as hubs for older adults to access nutritious meals and other vital services that strengthen social connections and promote health and wellbeing.
This March, Minuteman is proud to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the national Senior Nutrition Program with others across the country. The theme for the 50th anniversary celebration is Celebrate. Innovate. Educate. With this theme, we invite you to join us in:
- Celebrating the many accomplishments of senior nutrition programs over the past 50 years.
- Highlighting innovative approaches that have been used to support seniors.
- Educating communities so that they can understand and use nutrition services.
