It takes only one hour a week to make a visible, vital difference in the life of a frail, isolated elder in your community. As a volunteer for Minuteman Senior Services, you will experience the special satisfaction of knowing you are helping an elder live with independence and dignity. There is no better way to spend sixty minutes!

FRIENDLY VISITOR
Many isolated elders seldom see a friendly face. You could be that person who makes someone's ordinary day special!. Spend an hour a week as a Friendly Visitor in a town near you.

GROCERY SHOPPER
Once a week you can shop for a home bound elder at a time and place convenient to you.

MEDICAL TRANSPORT

You can provide an elder with crucial access to medical care by driving someone to and from doctor's appointments. This could be just one hour once a month!

MEALS ON WHEELS DRIVERS
If you can spare just one lunch-hour per month or more, you can deliver nutritious lunches to local homebound elders in Acton, Bedford, Concord, Carlisle, Lexington, Maynard, or Woburn. The need is great!

MEAL SITE ASSISTANT
Help out at your local hot lunch program where elders gather to get a low-cost nutritious meal; volunteers are needed to help set-up, serve and clean up. An opportunity to meet a lot of nice people.
