According to a recent AARP housing survey, 83 percent of older Americans want to stay in their current homes for the rest of their lives.
Home means a place of security and hopefully independence. Sometimes people need to look critically at their home to insure that it meets
their changing needs. Home Safe Home is a discussion about how to make your home safe and how to remain independent despite diminished
physical abilities. Common problems and easy solutions will be shared. Participants will be given a checklist to evaluate their own homes
as well as a list of local resources.
