It is no surprise that the numbers of men providing caregiving in our society is on the rise. Men, who have traditionally been the
"breadwinners" are stepping up to the plate and assuming the nurturing role of caregiver. Caregiving in general is a challenging and
demanding job. So much attention is given to woman as caregivers that men tend to be overlooked. Real Men are Caregivers, Too is a
discussion for men, led by men, that will explore the specific challenges of men in the caregiving role. The discussion will conclude
with a list of local resources and suggestions.
