Caring ConversationsTMServing the Needs of Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender (GLBT) Elders
This Caring Conversation helps participants identify specific issues, both legal and attitudinal, that affect GLBT elders. Emphasis will be placed on identifying the barriers that this population experiences in contacts with various health care systems. Isolation and loneliness will also be discussed as well as the growing list of resources that are available for these elders.
